Wonderful little café on a quiet corner of York city. Friendly atmosphere and great service. Liked that they have an accessible toilet and they obviously are strong community partners. Guide dog friendly with a seating area outside and a water bowl for the pooch. The coffee cake was delicious as was my latte. And it was in a large cup!! Also like that Jo and Katie both say #SconeAsIGone!

We stumbled across this busy cafe and we're really pleased we did! It was very busy and we got the last table. There is a good selection of different food types on offer, plenty of drink options, and lots of cake which sadly we couldn't manage! The Specials board offered different types of paninis including the brie, walnut and pear panini which was delicious. There are plenty of options for vegetarians and some vegan options too.
Really friendly staff. Family drinks and cake. We had carrot cake that tasted delicious and great value with generous portion sizes. Kids were looked after in possibly the best family friendly cafe we've ever been in.
Absolutely the best English breakfast I had :) The atmosphere is fantastic and gives a feeling of a warm community. Prices are reasonable, service is amazing, food is delicious 😊
We stumbled across this little cafe down a side street whilst looking to have some breakfast before going in the Jorvick Centre. The staff were extremeley freindly and welcoming all the time we were there. Fantastic full english breakfast and the best scrambled egg on toast I've ever had which was brilliantly presented. Pot of tea for two with china cups and saucers. Plates were hot and we were offered hot water to top up the tea pot. Excellent value for money. The bathroom was also very clean which is always a good sign of a well kept establishment. Thank you and well done from two satisfied customers.
Me and my boyfriend came in for 2 cold drinks during the heatwave. The staff were absolutely lovely and quickly made us feel comfortable and welcomed, with quick service. The place has a really great atmosphere in such a great location in the centre of York. We got an iced vanilla latte and a lemon iced tea and we couldn’t recommend them anymore! There are some games to play which definitely sticks out for all ages, especially those with younger children. We will absolutely be coming back, and recommend this gorgeous café to everyone!

A very nice place to have a traditional english breakfast, the place is in the center of york. The staff working there was very attentive and nice. I recommend this place!!!
Lovely little café located in a quiet corner. A cosy and comfortable place with friendly service and warm hospitality. I ordered a latte, which came with a piece of cookie that paired well with the coffee. A nice spot to relax and unwind before continuing my journey.
